Jorge Alejandro Montoya, known professionally as Flaco Mundo, is an artist of Chilean and West Indies origin who is born and raised in Paris suburbs. His journey, marked by an incessant quest for cultural exploration, testifies to an unwavering passion for art. From middle school, he channeled his talent into customizing his classmates' clothes to support himself financially.
At the age of 17, Flaco immersed himself in international culture, spending a year in New York, majoring in comics at a Brooklyn high school. On his return to France he found himself alone in a boarding school for two years. A period he turned into a learning experience, he immersed himself in rap, studied fashion, and gradually created his distinctive artistic universe. In 2015, he left France to live in London for three years. Like a bird in the sky, he explores the world in search of new cultures.
As his music gained notoriety and attracted the attention of record labels, Flaco decided to return to France to devote himself fully to his artistic career. However, a seemingly innocuous day, marked by a simple visit to the barbershop before business meetings, turned into a cruel twist of fate. Flaco suffered a terrible chemical burn to his skull, a chemical injury profoundly transforming this promising young artist.
Despite the years that have passed since this tragedy, Flaco has not given up. Currently based in Los Angeles, he invests every fiber of his being into his art, revealing exceptional resilience in the face of adversity.
